Kipu Systems was formed in early 2011 by Tobias Franoszek and Natasha Duwin to address the needs of one of our clients. They wanted to adopt electronic health records (EHR) to address the growth in the caseload of their stand-alone detox facility, and hired us to research and recommend an existing EHR system. After conducting a thorough analysis we found no system that serviced the particular challenges of the substance abuse industry, so the client asked us to create one.
