Summary/Abstract

Chooper's Guide is committed to providing information and resources that will elevate the awareness of addiction as a brain disease. We are active on both a company and a personal level in the Advocacy and Recovery Movement at a state and national level. We support drug policy reform and believe that only by changing the societal perception of addiction can we achieve policy reform in the healthcare and criminal justice systems which will result in individuals afflicted with addiction being spared from a lifetime of discrimination and afforded the same rights as individuals addressing other life threatening chronic diseases.
